badgelogo2.JPGAnother 4 goal thrashing via an ideal Liverpool lineup! A perfect second half had Liverpool working like clockwork, producing some of the most beautiful football seen in the Benitez era to date. The goals were coming from everywhere, even Jamie Carragher scored his first goal in 8 years! With plenty of cash coming from the hopeful DIC takeover and the terrific shows Liverpool have been putting on, hope of major success – that seemed far from reach only 10 days ago – looks eminent and real!

The players had a terrific game! The back four were solid as always and their frequent ventures into fulham’s end of the field produced a Jamie Carragher goal. The midfielders did good as well and the other 3 goals came from here, most notable of which was Luis Garcia’s remarkable header, not to undermine the other two from a Mark Gonzales free kick and a Steven Gerrard penalty rebound. The front two did fine trying their best to score, but a winter purchase in the striking department is becoming a must!

Currently 4th in the standings, things aren’t as bad as they seemed. At least 3rd place must be achieved by the time the championship is over! And next season … why not!
