badgelogo.JPGA good result from the Reds keeping up with the terrific results of late in the premiership. I didn’t get to see this game but caught the goals later on. It’s always wonderful to see the strikers score, especially after the criticism the front three have been getting. Watford haven’t been doing very well lately so the win was expected! Next up, Chelsea!

badgelogo.JPGWhat can I say! Arsenal has become an impossible task for the Reds. Even their reserve team! The only good thing in the game was Robbie Fowler’s terrific back-heel that got the game to 1-1. After that it was all downhill. Liverpool will now most probably have a silverware-less season given that they are out of both domestic cups, are way behind the frontrunners in the league, and finally are unlikely to repeat the Istanbul heroics of 2005!

badgelogo.JPGAnother defeat by Arsenal! These guys have just become a jinx! Although the Reds had a good game, small defensive errors let the team down. Arsenal got the win because of the talents of Thomas Rosicky and Thierry Henry. As a team I don’t think Arsenal have –they never had actually- what it takes to be a super team of the likes of Man Utd. and Chelsea. Getting back to Liverpool, let’s hope the jinx will be broken on Tuesday in the Carling Cup.

badgelogo.JPGI did not get to see most of the games because I was on holiday in Lebanon and most of the matches were on very busy weekends. However, the game I did get to see was Liverpool getting beaten on Boxing Day in that awful off day. All in all, the performances were fine and the overall attitude looks good.
